The SERVICES.

Contextual practitioner services · welfare, wellbeing and duty of care

Contextual Practitioner run. Delivered by a qualified practitioner and adult safeguarding support specialist, with front and first line experience across complex support. Training includes contextual safeguarding, trauma informed safer spaces, mental health first aid and suicide first aid.

The discovery call is free. Enquiring takes a few minutes, sets no prices and commits you to nothing.

The enquiry flow shapes its questions around what you pick. No prices are set there: you send, we talk, a quote comes back, a deposit confirms it.
Inside the flow sits the ethical pay guide: an independent view of what work like this should be paid, built from published union rate cards and sector data. It is not an ENKNEAUXN price list and never becomes one.
ENKNEAUXN is open to bartering and service exchange: a straight swap, products or services in kind, or a lower fee with an exchange covering the rest. Put it in your enquiry or raise it on the call, and it is weighed openly, the same as money.

What can be booked

01

For one named artist or creative worker

Artist worker support

Care, advocacy and safeguarding alongside the artist, from reflective one-to-ones and development sessions to being on the ground at gigs, shoots and shows. The duty is to the named person: their welfare, access needs, boundaries, safety, experience and emotional load, within the agreed date and remit.

02

For an artist, creative worker or artist team across a project period

Project or run support

Run, campaign, tour or production support. The duty follows the agreed plan across the period: check-ins, in-person and remote support, debriefs, welfare planning, signposting and handovers, shaped to the project.

03

For labels, management, agencies, collectives, touring teams and creative companies

Roster welfare and duty of care

Each person held has their own person-centred plan setting their sessions, check-ins, contact and show-ups. Welfare context is held over time, with a clear route for the team when something moves.

04

For shoots, sets, events, venues, productions and brand activations

Set, event and production welfare

The duty is to the environment: crew, models and extras, participants, attendees, guests, volunteers and staff, within agreed boundaries. Where DSL cover is booked, it operates within an agreed safeguarding plan: risk review beforehand, named escalation routes, decision authority on the day, incident logging, and post-event handover. Contributor welfare for unscripted and factual productions is available.

05

For higher education, business, community, charity and creative organisations

Programmes, workshops, talks and reflective spaces

Workshops, talks, panels, discussion facilitation, reflective spaces and debrief sessions, plus practice consultation across the five sectors. This includes guided sessions and group workshops built on the (SSCSS) Perspective Pyramid.

06

For higher education, business, community and charity teams

Temporary team support

Fixed-term, temp, freelance or agency-arranged work: audit clean up, student communication maintenance and student-facing practice, scaling teams and projects, and system, process and team development.

This work is booked by context, four ways: I show up for you one time, here and there. I am a consistent presence across a period. I hold a caseload of individuals for a team responsible for them. Or I hold a communal setting.

Every booking includes a free discovery call.

How an engagement runs

1. Call

A discovery call about what you need, no obligation.

2. Scope

A short scoping note covering role, dates, boundaries and cover.

3. Proposal

Deliverables and a written quote, anchored to the ENKNEAUXN rate card, as a day rate, half day rate or retainer, with any agreed exchange written in.

4. Delivery

On the ground or embedded, with written follow-up after.

Held honestly

Support is consent-led and person-centred. People can pause, stop or withdraw from support at any time, and can set what is shared, with whom, and how. Access needs are captured in a pre-date intake and support on the day is shaped around them.

This work is not therapy, clinical care, legal advice or emergency crisis support, and 1-1 support is not offered as a general public wellbeing service. Where a need sits beyond the remit, the response is honest signposting and referral, not improvised practice. Emergencies are for the emergency services.

The full practice standards live in the practitioner safeguarding addendum.

Start the conversation.

The enquiry flow takes a few minutes, sets no prices and carries no obligation. Prefer to talk first? Book a discovery call. Sessions also run in their own right on the contact page: 1-1 Wellbeing, 1-1 Advisory, Discovery Meetings and coffee chats. The booking terms and the practitioner safeguarding addendum sit behind every booking.
